Editorial illustration for Huffington Post article “Finding My Latinidad Meant Leaving Behind Everything I Knew To Be True”, part of their Latine Heritage Month series.
Editorial illustration created for Hawaii Business Magazine’s Hawaii of Tomorrow. This series uses optimistic, practical imagination to envision what Hawai’i will look like in the year 2050. It also examines how Hawai’i will respond to upcoming challenges such as climate change.
This piece was created for the section “Observing Innovators in Bloom,” which focuses on new cultural, technological and philosophical approaches to education that may emerge in Hawai’i in the next few decades. It was developed in collaboration with writer Matthew Ing, who wrote the accompanying article.
Editorial illustration for “Law Students Help Kalo Farmers Secure Water Access” from University of Hawaii Magazine’s Spring 2022 issue.
The article describes how UH law students are helping kalo farmers on Kaua’i access fresh water for their taro fields.
